What is Tenuate?

Tenuate pills belong to a class of weight loss drugs which are better known as an "Anorexigenic" or an "Anorectic". Tenuate drug is commonly used in short-term management of obesity. Tenuate Dosage

Tenuate Missed Dose:

Tenuate Overdose:
If you have an overdose of Tenuate by mistake, please contact your doctor immediately. An overdose of Tenuate may cause symptoms like unusually fast or slow heart beat fast breathing, confusion, dizziness, difficulty in breathing, chest pain and may even cause unconsciousness.

Possible food interactions with Tenuate

One should avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medication. Tenuate may interact with alcohol in an unfavorable way. During the period of this drug avoid using blood pressure medications such as Ismelin, Insulin or Phenothiazine drugs such as the major tranquilizer Thorazine. Because with these drugs, the effects of either could be increased, decreased, or altered. It is especially important that you consult your doctor before combining Tenuate with the following medicines.
